Privacy policy
We're Left Coast Printworks, a small promotional products and custom apparel company in Livermore, California. This page explains what we collect when you visit this site or ask us for a quote, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. The short version: we use your details to reply to you and fill your order, and we never sell them.
What we collect
What you send us. When you fill in the quote form, we receive what you type: your name, email, company, phone, the services and quantity you're interested in, your needed-by date and your notes. If you picked a swag pack, we also receive the pack, the items and quantities you chose, and the estimate the page showed you. We also record which page you sent the form from. If you email or call us instead, we keep what you send.
A little technical information. With each request we store a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and the name of your browser. We use these only to block spam and abuse, such as someone sending hundreds of fake requests. The scrambled IP address can't be turned back into your real one.
Page visit counts. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which tells us things like how many people visited and which pages they looked at. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't follow you to other websites, and doesn't tell us who you are.
Your display settings. If you switch between dark and light mode or turn animations off, your browser remembers that choice. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
We don't set cookies, and we don't use advertising or tracking tools.
The spam check
When you start the quote form, a check from Cloudflare (called Turnstile) makes sure you're a person and not a bot. To do that, Cloudflare looks at technical details from your browser. It doesn't ask you to solve puzzles in most cases, and it isn't used for advertising. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers how it handles that information.
How we use it
- To reply to you, put together your quote and mockups, and follow up about it.
- To produce and ship your order, and send you invoices, proofs and tracking.
- To keep the records any business has to keep, like orders and taxes.
- To keep this site safe from spam and abuse.
We don't sell your information, we don't share it with anyone for their marketing, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
A few companies help us run the business, and they handle your information only to do that work for us:
- Cloudflare hosts this site, runs the spam check and counts page visits.
- Supabase stores the quote requests and orders in our business system.
- Google Workspace runs our email.
- When you place an order, the suppliers and decorators who make your items and the shipping carriers who deliver them get what they need for that job, such as your artwork, the ship-to name and address, and a phone number for delivery.
We'd also share information if the law required it.
Your artwork
We keep your logo and art files on file so reorders are quick and you never have to send them twice. They're only ever used for your orders, and we never share or sell them, apart from sending them to the decorator printing your order. Want them deleted? Just ask.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and order records while we're working with you, and as long as we need them for our business and tax records. Spam requests get deleted. If you ask, we'll delete anything we're not required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email marla@leftcoastprintworks.com or call (925) 885-8258 and we'll take care of it. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising, so there's nothing to opt out of.
Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. We don't track you across other websites, so we treat every visit the same way whether or not that signal is on.
Security
This site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only our team can see the requests you send. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can get to your information and keep what we collect to what we need.
Kids
This site is for businesses and organizations. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
